The lessons last for 75 minutes each and include a number of various yoga- based exercises. The exercises are practiced standing, sitting or lying and focus on various body parts. As the intention of the lesson lies in the breathing and relaxation the exercises are practiced in a slow and peaceful manner offering you the opportunity to observe your body. There are also specific relaxation and breathing exercises.
Practical information relating to both the birth and the pregnancy is given so that you are sufficiently prepared for the birth e.g. how you can breathe through contractions, how to push, what to do when it begins etc.
The last 10-15 minutes of the lesson are given over to a cup of tea to ensure you have the time to come back to the here and now and make contact with fellow participants.
